Guelph MP Frank Valeriote continued his criticism this week of what he called the Conservative government's lack of leadership in addressing the automotive crisis. Valeriote, part of an automotive subcommittee in parliament, said the government's responses have been largely reactionary, and are contributing to a lack of confidence in the automotive sector.

"My sense right now is that the auto sector is in a state of suspended animation," said Valeriote.
